Playboy represented something once. Now it has turned into a mockery just like the SI Swimsuit issue. Hugh was very liberal and was a champion of gay rights but could you imagine in 1967 if he did this. It would have been the end of Playboy magazine and at that time the Playboy empire.

Playboy is iconic. So is (was) the SI swimsuit issue.

Another thing...Playboy was more than just "naked chicks"...did you even see one? The mag featured celebrity articles, lifestyle, the latest toys and gadgets, and basic overall issues pertaining to men. Like a Robb Report or GQ with a "tasteful" naked girl spread or two.

So yeah, complaining is justified.
