Let me tell you what the crooked sportsbook MGM/Mirage did to me this week. I bet the NYY to win the East at -160. 10 minutes later I asked if the line was the same. It was so I made the bet again. The supvisor made a phone call, after a couple minutes of discussion, I was then notified if I wanted to bet it again it would be -200. I almost took the Red Sox at +170 but I probably would have been arrested. These books are terrible now.

Chuck I always refer to Nevada sportsbook managers as shoemakers for that reason.

Well the cat is out of the bag now. It seems the RJ wrote an article on Jay moving to the LV Hilton.
For those of you that didn't know Caesar's (formerly Park Place) sold the Hilton to Colony Capity a few months ago. Colony Capital pursued Jay and got him.
Best of luck to him.

Interesting. The Hilton has had such a nice book with such terrible numbers that this could be good. It is easy to get to if you are just driving in for the book. Does this mean they will finally have bet boards and not just put up numbers on a TV screen???

Maybe Jay will start dishing out LeMontrachet and Benihana comps like when Art ran it?

But then Art seemingly was told by management to reduce them to LeBuffet?..or did he and Chuck just get cute on their own?

Agree WildBill, I used to like being able to park and jot in the side door(like Dust or Bally) to get a number at post..and the Heinkens flow.
