High powered offense against the best defense in the league. Many thought Carolina would roll.

I like watching defensive football, much like I can appreciate a low scoring pitchers duel.

If you can appreciate good defense, it wasn't boring at all.

If I didn't watch the game and looked at box score I'd think Carolina was the winner.

21-11 Carolina in First Downs

315-194 Carolina in Total Yards

Denver "D" was MVP! Their pressure confused the league MVP Newton AKA "Fig" and his Offensive line that had at least 3 or 4 of teams 12 penalties.

Jonathan Stewart 1 yd run (Graham Gano kick)

C.J. Anderson 2 yd run (Bennie Fowler 2pt Pass from Peyton Manning)

Newtons post game "I don't know" this will be with him forever.

No completion, I saw hand under ball and point of ball touch turf. Ruling on field tough to overturn. Agree with it being not overturned if it was ruled a catch and reviewed......

Doesn't a Republican win Presidential Election now that AFC won Super Bowl dbanana0-9

Lol.. The ball clearly hit the ground and moved. Get over it. Go watch the replays...

if it clearly hit the ground, the call clearly would have been confirmed

you're the first person I've seen or heard say it wasn't a catch, besides the video game replay expert of course

Looked like a catch to me

and everybody else too

I saw one report which said they couldn't see if his hand was under the ball when he rolled over, so they let the call stand

they didn't say they saw it hit the ground, they couldn't see his hand

It was not a catch. Ball hit ground and wasn't secured. And the commentators are jack asses for stating they didnt see the ball touch the ground when it clearly did.

Cam lost that game for them. If you don't agree, watch his press conference and tell me how much you respect him after that. He's the leagues MVP and he just acted like a child. He's danced and pranced around all year, but he loses a big game and he acts like a child. He will never be a leader and I know he just lost a ton of respect from his fans that he cares less about BUT also his teammates

Agree 100%.
He is not an accurate passer overall, he hits some amazing ones here and there, 30 yard lasers, but he is not a top passer. Against the 32nd best schedule in the NFL, with his team able to run the ball, he looked OK, but was, what # 24 in passing. I figure Seattle and AZ gave them the game, Seattle was asleep til down 31-0, almost came back, and AZ with 7 turnovers, 6 by Palmer... his finger threw him way off, his ribs and pec was sore from the week before for overcompensating for a different throwing motion.
As a leader, he is a disgrace, celebrating up 3-4-5 TD's late in the game, many of his teammates deep inside know he is being juvenile, so his leadership = FAIL.
How about he DIDN'T jump into the pile when the ball was right in front of him on his fumble late in the game. GAME OVER. Why isn't the media pointing that out more? Some leader.

If Manning acted like that(which he never does), the Boston media would be all over him. Dennis and Callahan trashed Manning all morning on their radio show. Jealous, classless assholes.....
