Can definitely see this scenario come the fall. If things are relaxed when it is warm out and then the number of people getting sick start to rise again
are the governors going to lock everyone down again in say November?

I could definitely see mass protests where they try this again. It could get real ugly...

I posted this thread in error. Hit the post button by accident before I could finish the rest.

As long as Republican lead states move forward by example of relying on its Citizens to do the right thing I’m sure we’ll survive through all this while flattening the curve STILL without government INTERVENTION.

Yup.......if there's a 2nd wave, which I hope there isn't, but if they try & have another lockdown come winter, people won't stand for it, huge protests will break out, & yes, it will get ugly.

No way can you call for another lockdown disrupting the economy again.

When 50 million died from the Spanish flu....most of the deaths were in the 2nd wave because of the fact that we grew tired of mitigation efforts.

Sound familiar? Not saying that many will die. Our measures were much more drastic. But the 2nd wave could be deadlier based on history. I hope not.

Why will there be any riots? The typical American rioters have gained economically during this crisis.

Once again not telling the whole truth only what you want people to know.

Come on you disingenuous target practice target, be honest for once...

The truth is partly of what you said but the rest is the strain that came back for the 2nd wave was a much stronger version that came from Europe
That strain was the original one that was in the United States for the 1st wave. It went over to Europe mutated into that new strain which was stronger

People let their guard down when that strain came back over. Things are much different 100 years later

Also as viruses mutate they get weaker not stronger...

Either the government opens up the country or the country is going to open up on the government.
