none....but this board really desensiteses us cause I have been banned from other webboards (non-gambling) for posting very mild things.

I blame therx because I just figure most things I say are weak considering the RR crew up in here.

I have to believe you know why you were banned. I have 22 emails going to and from you in my archive. Most of them regarding your banning last fall and then unbaning this spring and a few regarding a rather serious dispute with a book that I assisted you with that turned out with you receiveing a substantial sum that you were owed back in February of 2007. I recall you being very grateful at the time and I still appreciate that.

The baning matter is a complicated one and obviously one that we were able to work out or you would not be posting today. Lets leave it at that please and not rehash it here lest we hijack the thread. Thanks...

Speaking of banned posters in general, today we have around 42,000 registered posters. Of that number around 1,000 are banned, this goes back years as some were banned as far back as 2004 and maybe earlier.

Over 90% are either ghosts, shills, scammers pornogrphers, touts, salesmen of every variety and some just registered in very foreign languages such as Russian or other unreadable languages by 99.9% of the posting body.

I just not ten minutes ago banned a new registration who called himself Æóðíàëþãà -- his IP is from Moscow.

The Rx is an English language forum for the most part with a little Spnish used occasionally in Bookie Chit Chat so this newbie was banned with a courteous note about the language barrier. We do have posters who live in Russia and post from there but in English. We have posters from all over the world but they all are able to post in English.

As many of you know I have allowed a lot of banned posters back in the last year, some have worked out fine, a few have not.

---

Regarding post review, for 95% of the posters on post review all it would take is an email to me and we could discuss the reason they are on post review and if there is any chance the the post review can be removed.

In all honesty I really dislike banning veteran posters and almost all of the time have a majority rules vote among the Rx Advisory Board if a veteran poster is involved, sometime immediate banning is necessary when sensitive information or special circumtances are involved.
For the record ghosts returning trying sneak back in do not get any votes.

For you newbies, the post above by Dante is a joke, Dante is an long time now ex-moderator here who still posts here but does not moderate anymore and he has never been banned or post reviewed.

I try to be fair as posible but some cases are beyond help but not many.

Harry Cary, off the top of my head I cannot remember what the problem was with you but apparently it is resolved. Please do not rehash it here as I know I have emails discussing it and can look them up later.

FWIW: I have 8705 incoming messages archived and 12,559 outgoing messages archived in my Yahoo mail box. Many discussing bannings and post reviews and even more involving matters where posters have issues with various books. Yahoo has a great search feature that only requires as little as a single 3 letter keyword to find a particular email.

Finally I would like to remind all of you that when you registered (even years ago) you agreed to the following house regulations:

Forum Rules
Registration to this forum is free! However, TheRx.com does insist that you abide by the rules, guidelines and policies detailed below.

I have read, and agree to abide by TheRx.com Posting Forum rules.

---------------------------------------------------

Natrually all of the Rx mod team tries to be as fair and lenient as possible when it comes to the letter of these rules but nonetheless they have always been there and you cannot get a user name without agreeing to abide by them.

Thanks, wil..
