It has happened before. The winner of the electoral votes by the states is the President, not the popular vote. Just like betting on here - Fade the public.Bismarck said:I will not cast a vote in another presidential election in the U.S until:
A) The Electoral College is abolished
B) Illinois becomes a swing state
What kind of a democracy declares its leading vote-getter in the presidential election the loser? The Electoral college is at least 70 years out-of-date, imo.
Arizona is closer than Florida I believe. The Sr's in both states will ensure Bush wins however. Minnesota is no contest... Bush has no chance in that state. Not sure where you're getting your info... Most the other states you listen won't come into play either. Of course...it's an election and you never know (much like handicapping a sporting contest) But I see Ohio, Wisky, and Iowa being the last three "close" states and the amount that they have in Electoral votes will decide the election.lander said:Runner,
There is a tight race in several other states too -
Nevada, New Mexico, New Hampshire, Maine, Florida, Missouri, Arkansas, Minnesota, New Jersey, Pennslyvania.
