How long do you wait before wagering

We all look forward to the beginning of football season, hockey season, basketball season, baseball season, soccer season (although soccer seems to go all year), etc. The question is....how long do you wait before wagering on those games? Do you jump right in a wager on the first game of the season? Do you wait a few games, a couple of weeks, etc?????

Its true, at the beginning you can find some solid plays, weak lines, mis-matches, etc........but you can also find that a lot of unknowns pop up that can affect your wager both in a positive and negative way!

Is your feeling..........YES, hockey and basketball and football are here......and I'm betting......

I'll wait two weeks on the bases and bb. Just to give the players a chance to get back into the routine.

I wait about a month in baseball and hockey. 5 games for NBA and CBB game and 1H plays, right at the beginning of the season for 2H plays in both of those sports. CFB, I wait at least a month for game totals, but start at the beginning of the season again for 2H plays. NFL, I only do 2H plays and those begin when the regular season starts.
