To answer original question, the MSM will be all over it if anything “appears” to be a 2nd wave...

Regarding your post question of it being a good call, we will NEVER hear that from MSM...sorry

The numbers will go up in the short term. The question is will the media panic and will politicians feed into it to save themselves? The lockdown is the safe bet to not get criticism. If 10 years from now it was a bigger problem than the deaths people will likely forget it anyway. Besides, you can just say we did it to save lives. But if a opening up of the country leads to a rise in deaths than you were a murderer who didn't care about people. It is like 4th and 1 from the 50 yard line. Coaches punt even when the odds say to go for it. Why? Because if they don't get it they will get criticized more than if they don't go for it. At least that has been they way coaches have done it for so long people are just use to the safest move

There has not even been one wave, so "another" wave is impossible.

There has definitely been a decline here the last 2 weeks. I'd say an 80% decrease from our local "peak".

If we opened up and the daily cases triple (still half of peak).... that seems like another wave

There will be a really bad flu season next year because we have self isolated and have not built up our immunity.

Throw out all the “kills 99%” bacteria stuff
Drink out of the water hose
Let the kids play in the dirt
Pet the pets

For so long we have it driven into our brains about all these bad germs and we are creating super bugs as we weaken our and our kids immune systems...or maybe I’m wrong...:think2:

This is interesting. Other than x-files posts here, I haven't heard anything about problems with contagious diseases extending into 2021. Is this a theory you came up with on your own or did you see it somewhere?

A lot of the public has the Corona virus & they don't have any symptoms.......of course the numbers will go up like the flu, it's only logical, but I don't consider it a 2nd wave since people have always had it.

what?

If people have it and don't have symptoms...why would numbers go up?

And how would you not consider it a 2nd wave if numbers are going up?

confused by the post
