That animated fly through, I did not like to watch. My new restaurant that will open in 2 weeks is 5 streets from the Kennedy St. Bridge on Kennedy. But it looks like it will not hit us. The Rays game is on tonight.
Pretty much a done deal now. Had a decent amount of rain and some pretty big gusts, but nothing too bad. I closed the bar early at midnight and had some people come back to the house and ride it out for a while, but things never got bad (knock/wood).
Lake Okeechobee is getting hammered. Water level should rise by over a foot by the time this thing is done. Just what the doctor ordered for Florida's water supply.
Local reports at 5pm suggest the major storm is going to ride up the east coast and then do a bend back down across the state and hit TBay area Thu/Friday
Sure...sure it will

Had a slightly below average lawn/garden day as we did get some gusty rains in here about 4pm...But expect to keep rocking Wed/Thu - likely to the delight of my CR agent.....
I've been right in the thick of it for the last few hours (St Lucie West). Some of the lower lying streets have some flooding but that's about the only issue. The wind is no big deal. Electricity went out once for about 2 seconds then came right back on. TV reception has been fine all along.
