How Ironic (Directv related)

I can't believe that I just got a recorded fucking phone call from them telling me that I'm on their no call list & giving me the option of having myself removed from it.

Even more ironic since the fucks are supposed to show up between 8am & noon tomorrow to fix this junk.

coming out thursday. this will be the 3rd hd reciever they have replaced in the last 2 months. i dont understand it. didnt have a problem with them at all for the first few yrs. now all has gone to shit...

Great....I was actually planning on working the guy for the HD receiver.

This will be their last shot or it's back to Comcast.

why not fta? the dish is already installed all you need is a receiver and download the files?

IF they have it in your area give Verizon a try its amazing, 100times better then Comcast and the only thing DTV has over it is the NFL football package. Good luck, I have had lots of problems with my DTV boxes as well.

No. whatever you do. Stick it out with DTV. You dont want none of comcast.

make sure you tell them you want a " new" box. the first 2 i got, were refurbished. i am in the process now of switching to fios

I have DTV. I have used their service for the past 7 years, free and not free.

If I read your message correctly, are you stating that you don't have to install another satellite dish for FTA?

What sites do you frequent to update your receiver? Also, what receiver do you recommend?
