Today's phone bill from Verizon contains an ad for a picture caller ID phone ($129.).

The ad explains next to nothing about how this works. Just shows a picture of a child where you would normally see the phone number caller ID. I'm guessing it's about a 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch screen.
Please tell me this can not be activated UNLESS the sender also has the same or similiar equipted phone.
