And one such habit is to take a day or more off (presuming you enjoy playing most every day).
FISHHEAD is correcto-mundo. This is not a 'season-long' project. Nor even an 'annual' project per se. It's a lifetime.
Leading us to NUMBER ONE fundamental:
NO MATTER HOW GOOD A PLAY LOOKS TODAY, there will be MORE PLAYS TOMORROW.
And the next day.
And the next.
Get it?
Given the huge menus at most Books these days (Sides, Totals, Halves, Quarters, Props), there's literally hundreds and hundreds of choices each week.
Therefore NO PLAY is literally THE PLAY OF THE YEAR or whatever.
I've noticed in my own experience that a 'bad streak' is usually just a short run of losses that gets exacerbated when I mix in the Game of the Month and give it excessive value.
