How do you stop a wedding ?

Doug, if you think you will ultimately divorce her mother/your wife, don't think of even spending a dime. For that matter, divorce your wife now. Perhaps all the craziness among the 3 women will throw the wedding off track.

I tell every guy I know that is getting married, 1) don't do it, 2) if they are stupid enough as I was to do it, elope. Nothing like starting off in the hole w/a huge wedding bill and the aggrevation that goes along with it.

It's really complicated...

Cris is short, about 4' 11" ( like her mother), average looking ( really), has a sis a few years younger that's like 5'6" and really hot, better B/F, a lot better, younger sis has model type looks, and is just really more fun to be around.... they ( the family) always say, she's my daughter... of course she isn't.

Cris has an inferiority complex to her sister ( If I'm playing Shrink).

Cris is far smarter, has a college degree, little sis is more street smart.

I just want the best for both of them. I'll probably divorce their mother at some time, pretty much hate her guts.

J/k.. at 27 years old each there is nothing you can do to stop them but you can make it very clear to your wife, and the couple that you are not in a position to pay for the wedding (especially these days is a good reason). Recommend they either have a small service and reception in their home with just immediate family and a few friends or that they elope to Deleware or Vegas wherever they want to go.

If there is a strong bond of love between them then the type of wedding should not matter. Think about it, if they took the $100K and paid down their mortgage, their new mortgage would ease their monthly nut substationally. Big expenseive weddings unless someone involved is very wealthy are a thing of the past or only for the movies.

Wife basically hates the groom, already, and does not approve of him at all.

Lots of tension as she loves the other daughter's BF, calls him her son, they getting hitched the next year, with 100% approval... from her ( my 1st wife, their mother).

Yes, I would have an interest in the hot SD, if appropriate, she's about 22 years younger than me, if she were my age... sure...or even just not my S/D, and wanted an old guy, and I was single, for certain...that ain't the case.....but yes, I'd take a 23 yo as a G/F at 45 yo, anytime... who would not ?

Well losing a 5 cent piece in the 19th century, would be like losing a dollar today... at a minimum, it mattered.

If you found it with a metal detector, it likely has severe ED ( Environmental damage)....and you've probably attempted to clean it, and damaged it, doing so.

If the half-dime has great detail, and you haven't fucked it up already.... NCS could "conserve" it
