I've noticed in the site promotions forum, where the mods say anything goes, that you are able to delete/remove other people's post from your thread if you don't llike what they stated.

Just wondering how you do that, and can you do it in any of the forums? Most posts I see being removed from a thread don't use profanity nor are all of them untrue statements.

You cannot do that - you have to report a post and ask a moderator to do so. The moderators take these reports case by case. A post report does not automatically mean a post will be edited . No posts will be deleted - just moved or edited.

Speaking of Site Promotions, if you have a problem with another poster there - stay out of his or her threads and start your own tracking thread on the particular poster.
