I would be more than interested to see a list of threads in which I espouse talking points of any kind. If I happen to agree with something a democrat says is that me stating talking points? I agree (spit) with most Republicans that are anti-illegal immigration and I'm against abortion on demand am I now good with the repub talking points? I also think the budget should be balanced (old Rep notion I know) and we shouldn't run astronomical deficits.RobFunk said:

Rob, forgive my rant. At this point in time I am not enamored of either party. I am as independent as you can get but want what is best for the country (and my own interests like everyone else).
The Dems who I lean more toward for a variety of reasons are missing a golden opportunity if they don't get their heads out of their collective ass on the illegal immigration issue.
I am a working man, have always been so and I see undocumented workers taking jobs from people like myself all the time because they will work for half the wages. I lost a promotion once because I was asked to take a course in Spanish to communicate with members of the "new" workforce.
This will be the one reason I could vote for a Rep over, it matters that much to me.

Lets give loaded guns to all of our so called leaders and let them shoot it out until only one is standing. We'll give him (or her) a 10 year suspended sentence and send him (or her) home.
