dont like buying hooks. especially on a game where i felt would be a blowout.

Dexter is right. Buying the hook usually isn't a good idea because of the hefty price. I probably made a small mistake taking the hook here. That said I got an ok price on it at -130 where it's much worse to take it at 140-150 that some books offer.

I'd pay -130 for it in a minute. No damn game in the history of the NFL has ever been decided by 7 and a half points, EVER. I'm not greedy, I just want to win, LOL.

taking the hook on -3.5 or -7.5 is always a good idea

Honestly not sure how anyone can take the Browns at the moment. Decision to stay away comes from the same principle of (once you agree with the rest of your metrics) betting teams which are currently hot. Odds are they win more often than lose as opposed to betting teams like the Browns where the inverse is true.
