Got a quick one from Jacks Casino at Thisltldown last Saturday as I bet a race fron Thistledown and had 20 bucks for a slot machine so i go play a $1 slot where there is 3 machines and the middle one is empty. So the old lady to my left go plays the middle slot and put a 20 bill in and first spin hits for $1250 plays 2 more spins and leaves.I knew it wasnt my day so took out my balance and left.

yep - always a downer when someone hits just before you sit down at a slot machine.

Learned & practiced Craps online before my first ever trip to Vegas.

Won over $600 at Excalibur my first time playing in person the night before my morning leave to airport back home...

best roll ever, over the span of 20 to 30 minutes, shooter through 6 consecutive hard fours

25 paid 175
50 paid 350
100 paid 700
200 paid 1400
400 paid 2800
1000 paid 7000

won 14k on that table, learned that day that they don't report winnings from craps to the IRS

25 yrs ago was at a blackjack table in Atlantic city. Guy next to me has a full blown seizure right as cards are all dealt. This guy (about 30 yrs old) is flopping all over the floor. Security came from everywhere acting like this was some kind of scam (it wasn't). Everyone had to finish the hand from about 5 yards from the table. I Had to ask the dealer what I even had showing.

I had a guy who loved played 3 card poker. He would deposit several thousands per week. One day as I was leaving my shift at midnight on a Saturday, he called me and said he couldn't make a deposit again until tomorrow. So I gave him a $2500 chip and went to the bar.

came in the next day around 2pm as usual

and everyone was staring at me. I was a little hung over but not that bad.

Turns out, my client turned that $2500 free chip into $330,000

He called me to thank me and have his limits raised. I did.

By 10pm he lost it all and sent in more money.

I think he was up for 3 consecutive days playing. Vodka and cigars. He told me he wanted to get to a million and then quit.

I hit in Roulette on the #16 for $10 paid 350, $20 paid 700, and $40 paid 1,400. Was grasping for a 4th time but it didn't happen! Also, IRS just reports based on odds of the game I believe so its just slots or horses or poker that usually reports

i was 18 at the taj and had 3 racks of reds waiting for a 2-5 table to open after a great 1-2 run. the floor walks up to a guy standing next to me and cards him. I'm sweating like crazy as he shows her his ID. she comes up to me next and I'm already patting my pocket getting ready to say i forgot my id in the car. she instead tells me I am welcome to sit at one of the empty tables while i wait for my seat and never carded me. was quite the rush at the time

scottcarter, stories like the one you told break my fucking heart

seriously, when can some people walk away?

I know my relatives from Italy can't, no matter what, they stay at a machine until they lose every penny they came with. If they're up thousands, it just don't matter

me too man. It's heartbreaking. Such a great guy who called me several times a week. I basically considered him a friend after not too long. The good thing about the story is that he was (likely still is) filthy rich. To turn $2500 in $330K was amazing. I think I would have cashed out even if I didn't need the money. Just to say that I did that.

I haven't in awhile but I used to head out to the land based casinos here in Costa Rica quite often. It's great when you leave and you are up.

Vegas isn't built on winners. Free booze and oxygen to keep ya playing until the house eventually wins.

Two stories:

one is being told that we don't want my action.........on a $5 quinella bet. Not many people are denied bets let alone a stinking $5 bet.

THe other one was my uncle and he tells it great. Playing 7 card stud and gets quad 2's first four cards. On the table next to him were pair jacks, pair queens and pair of aces. Everyone betting and raising. Time to show and he is counting his money. Mistake. Hands go quad 2's, quad jacks, quad queens and a full boat trip aces. My uncle says the only consellation is that there is some asshole in America telling this story right now how he had a full boat trip aces and it was the worse hand out four. My uncle moved back to Minnesota from Las Vegas the next week.

Unbelievable.

Why not withdrawal 200k and he would still have over 100k to play with?

Was the guy so rich that it took a million to make his dick move or was he just a true degenerate?
