Feel like I got a pretty good squad this year.

12 man league. $120 buy-in.
I drafted from the 11 hole spot in our snake draft.
standard scoring.

Starters:

QB- Drew Brees
RB- Todd Gurley
RB- Josh Jacobs
WR- JuJu Smith-Shuster
WR- Adam Theilen
TE- Eric Ebron
Flex- Kenny Galloday
D/ST- Vikings
K- Harrison Butker

Bench:

RB- Derrius Guice
RB- Matt Breida
WR- Curtis Samuel
WR- Michael Gallup
QB- Jameis Winston
RB- Ito Smith
RB- Justin Jackson (picked him up last in case Melvin Gordon holds out).

What was the order of your picks?

Gurley
JuJu
Jacobs
Theilen
galloday
guice
brees
ebron
breida
samuel
gallup
winston
butker
smith
vikings
jackson

really wanted Henderson or Brown as handcuffs to Gurley. But they literally went crazy early, there were still very relevant players on the board and people were still picking backups before I could get my hands on them.

Didn’t want to take a qb that early either, but someone picked up Mahomes in the 2nd round and it started a domino effect of people drafting all the qbs.

What other options were there at #11?? Not high on Gurley this year...he won't last the whole season. I woulda gone back to back elite WR at pick #11 or elite WR then Kelce if he was there. I think jacobs was way too early as your #3 pick....what were your other QB choices at #7?? Or later....If Lamar Jackson was still there you shoulda waited a round or two and got him and bulked up other areas. Your best pick was Ju Ju very high on him this season. BOL!

Love Curtis Samual also!! Great pick up will break out this season

i don’t remember exactly without looking back at everything. But having the option of Gurley at #11? I bit the bait that was dangling in front of me. I mean I felt like that was value I almost couldn’t pass up. The thought of grabbing a couple of higher tier receivers did cross my mind, but there’s such depth at receiver right now I felt like I still did pretty well in that category. Especially being in standard scoring. If we did PPR or half point PPR my lineup would look majorly different. I couldn’t quite pass up Bree’s either, I had him last year and he was a stud for me. I’m really high on Curtis Samuel as well, I’d say within a couple weeks he’ll be in the picture for very good numbers.

I took a chance on Jacobs as my 3rd round pick. Obviously he’s not proven in the nfl yet. But hey, in Gruden style offense and on a team that has Antonio Brown drawing coverage, I feel like his ceiling is so high. He should be a 3 down back right out of the gate.

Don't forget that Oakland picked up Patriot left tackle Trent Brown in free agency. THe guy had a great year last year with the Pats. They just don't pay big bucks to O linemen so they had to let him go.

I like Jacobs too for my PPR league. Hope to get him at 3-10 in my 12 team league.
