The Texans are getting no love from the oddsmakers as they know the masses love nothing more than a big, chalky home favorite. And that’s exactly what we have in this meeting of the NFL’s Texas entries with Houston getting a whopping 18-point head start by the folks over at Caesars.
However, we should note that there is a distinct possibility that the Cowboys will be reading their press clippings after they thrashed the Colts last Sunday and could very well be looking ahead to their meeting with Philadelphia in a few weeks from now.
Lastly, the Texans’ have only lost by 18 points once this season and that was on the road to the Raiders. Houston might be lousy but they don’t get blown out all that much. Dallas will be cognizant of keeping their players healthy for what they believe will be a deep playoff run and I doubt they will keep the gas on the pedal in this one. Take the points with the Texans.
