There are no moderate rebels fighting in Syria...they are all thugs trying to establish the same things they have done in Iraq and Libya. McCain even met with ISIS leaders when he went to Syria. Bombing an air base in Syria is meaningless in the big scheme of things. Hell, it was
operational a couple of days later. But what it did do is send a message, I'm not like
my predecessor. I will not allow you to commit crimes against humanity even if the rest
of the United Nations doesn't seem to care.
