Hook... I am pretty sure the chase is -145, not -150. I read your initial rules from 2012 and have cut and pasted below:
1. Chase any HOME team starting a 3 or 4 game home series (chase for the home series);
2. Home team must be favored by -145 or more in the first game of the series;
3. Home team must have won at least 2 of last 3 games;
4. There must be a total of 9 or more runs in the first game of the series.

Hi everyone...sorry I was MIA for the past couple of days. Work has been hectic. To clarify a few of the issues of the recent discussion:
1. The criteria of the chase calls for the home team to be favored by -145 or more.
2. We are chasing 3 or 4 game home SERIES. Be careful not to chase when it's a 2 game series.
3. You can't triple stamp and double stamp.
4. Toronto on 4/8 (TOR/HOU series) was NOT a play because TOR did not win at least 2 of the previous 3 games before the start of that series. Look at the criteria.
5. Baltimore is not a play because the total was not unanimously 9 or more. I saw 9 out there but 8.5 at many places as well (We got burned in our only loss last season by doing this so I altered the chase by making its criteria be unanimous before becoming an official play)
6. Pertaining to our tornado discussion: On April 10, 1979. in Wichita Falls, Texas... I was only 4 years old but clearly remember the day.....forever known as "Terrible Tuesday." The tornado sirens went off and the news reported a massive tornado approaching the town from the west. I lived on the eastern part of town so my family gathered and went to my grandparents house nearby where they had a tornado shelter. The tornado passed and my grandparents neighborhood didn't get touched. We got in the car and went back home to find nothing but a concrete slab with some plumbing pipes sticking up from it. The whole damn house and everything was gone! That day, 56 people were killed by that tornado and it destroyed - decimated - a town of more than 100,000 people. If my folks had not decided to take a risk, get into the car, and leave our house, we would've been killed as well. Instead, maybe it was God's plan, through my parents, they saved me and if it were not for them, the Hybrid Chase would've never been born. One thing I forgot to mention is we go by the line just prior to game start or as close to it as we can get. Most of the time it doesn't change too much within 5 to 10 minutes before game start. The reason why we do that is because it allows the chase to factor in line movement as one of its criteria.
