What the **** does someones sexual preferences have to do with their ability of lack of to make a profit from betting?

It's quite simple...homos get confused by the terms used in gambling, like "laying the wood" and "juice"

No, actually but have two friends that are? Negative views on gays, lesbians tend to be mostly held by either old people or far right wing types over here. Everyone else seems to accept that what other people do.

We have occasions of both lesbain and gay kissing scenes on mainstream primetime TV during the last decade or so. Still rare but doesn't have any shock value anymore.

I'll take a guess and suggest that 'Homos' being frowned upon is due to stronger religious beliefs in the U.S. than Europe.

Ehhh, I would tend to disagree with your assessment. I would say it has more to do with the American tendency towards conformance. Anyone who is different in any way is made fun of for the most part -- homos even more so because it involves sexuality.

I think it has a lot to do with religion and peoples sexual expression is repressed from a very young age. On Prime time Network TV you can watch shit blow up, kill countless people, violence to no end but god forbid they show a nipple.

Plus homo, F@G, Que3r and the rest of the insults are supposed to be an attack on a msomeones on Manhood because most people still have the image of the mincing fairy as what most gay men look like.
