I've noticed that homedawg has the worst luck EVER... he always seems to be on the right side and then some crap like that always happens... Gotta turn around at some point and then you'll win all these heartbreakers.

ya the disgusting thing is these are all home teams that blow leads late in the 2nd half, and for the most part are good teams

i believe I have been against them the past 4 games. of those 4 I won 1 of them, and had 2 of them so close to in the bag I could almost touch the money. Of course it didn't work out I think you will start to get some good value going against them. i won't bet against them at home, but i think teams that could match up with their guard play can give them some trouble.

I just don't understand how you make statemnts during the game of how South Carolina should have been up by 10 and had the game in hand, yet Florida looked like the better team... you have a right to your opinion but if anything, South Carolina tried to blow the game against Florida in Columbia... They led the entire game until the final couple minutes. Like I said, that's your opinion.. I feel like South Carolina will win on the road and make a statement tonight.. seems like no one will give them credit for what they've done this year with a short bench. IMO Florida hasn't done anything this year to warrant them having such a huge spread over a South Carolina team that has proved day in and day out that they a top dog in the SEC>

I went to the Bradley game. Tough loss would be an understatement. Credit UNI for hitting 5 of 6 threes in the last 3 minutes.

All you can do is bet the right side, and then it's pure gambling once the ball tips.

I don't get it? I played both the spread and the ml... I still think USC was cheated by the foul disparity.. but what can you do? No wonder Florida is undefeated at home. USC is still in the race for the SEC-East... South Carolina is still holding serve at home, having not lost a game there yet in conference play, and their only loss out of conference play at home was to Clemson. Luckily, they have Kensucky and Tennessee at home, and have already played LSU out of the West... The schedule is shaping up to allow them to go on a run at the end of conference play to take the crown in the SEC-East.

that is my philosophy 100%. put yourself on the right side and then watch what happens. i am a firm believer of putting yourself on the right side.

Well, you couldn't have been more on the right side tonight. Just a sick loss.

Bradley's coach choked as well. Played not to lose. I'll never understand not working for a shot and trying to run out the clock when you have 2+ minutes left. And they gave up wide open looks on those threes.

Absolutely clutch play by UNI down the stretch. But BU gave that game away. They had the game in their hands despite not hitting anything all night and not getting any calls, either.

But......that's the way it goes sometimes in this game. Better luck tomorrow to you.

Thank you. Some real good MVC games tomorrow. I really like Indiana St. Not too many people to talk MVC ball with, but obviously you are a fan. What do you think about tomorrow's games? Even though their record I really like this Indiana St team. If Stinson never left, and they had Marshall for the whole year I think they would be a contender. They have been shooting the ball well since Marshalls return and are always a tough out at home. Tunnel and Reed have also been developing nicely. i really think they win this one tomorrow. i also like the saluki's in carbondale. Ill St has struggled away from home, and Lowery has So Ill close out on shooters better than anyone in the country. Their ability to cover the 3 point line could give Oguchi and Osiris trouble. I also like Dillard. he reminds me a lot of Tatum. He is going to be a stud in a few years, but has come along nicely since the beginning of the season. I think this could be a good match up for So Ill.

You have any thoughts on tomorrow?

I think IN St is a long ways away from contending. But they are definitely a tough out at home.

Mullins is out for probably the rest of his career, so all bets are off tomorrow in Carbondale. I haven't looked at much else, but that news just came out today.

At first glance, Texas looks strong. Mizzou is so poorly coached, how can they only be getting 3.5? Blowout potential.

MVC is a great league, isn't it? So much fun to be a fan of the MVC. Obviously, I'm a huge Illini fan, but I also like IL St and Bradley. They are arch rivals, but I love going to games at both places.

I don't know where you're located, but if you're in the midwest, you should come to St Louis for the tournament. Go to every game, play poker at Harrah's, good night life downtown St Louis......it is one great weekend.

i actually live in NY, but the MVC is def my favorite league to cap, and as a fan. I have made some good money in the league over the years, and have really grown to enjoy the teams. I was probably the biggest So Ill fan at the dome when they made it to the sweet 16 in 02 i believe when Weber was the coach and they had Dearman in the middle. I had such a good year in the MVC 3 seasons ago I was so close to buying tickets to go to Arch madness, but couldn't find anyone to go. I think I like the league so much because they play basketball how it should be played. Home teams are usually money in that conference, but not as much this year as years past. Well hopefully Ind St will be good to me tomorrow.
