Mid Tenn +4

Have a huge advantage talent wise. Mizz St record is hiding just how little talent this team has. Cuonzo Martin is doing a great job, but this is still a team that will struggle when they run up against superior talent. Mid Tenn doesn't have that name brand, but they have the athletes. Fact behind that is every coach in their league (Sun Belt) picked them to finish first, and that is a solid league with teams such as So Alabama, and West Kentucky, who made it to the sweet 16 last season. The Blue Raiders have conference player of the year Desmond Yates leading the way, averaging 18.2ppg, and he is complimented by 7 other returning players. There aren't many teams that you will find who return 8 contributing players! It helps that they aren't just seniors, they are athletic, talented seniors. Coach Kermit Davis stressed defense, and rebounding in the pre season and they have delivered owning a +5 rebounding advantage. I expect the more veteran, talented team to win out

Also, noticed you and GimmeDatt both on Indiana tonight... just can't quite pull the trigger. Is this bet more due to Indiana playing hard and defending their home court? Or just not sold on Northwesterns talent or ability to get a big road win?

Indiana is playing NorthEASTERN not northwestern... that could be one of the reasons you couldn't pull the trigger.. although N.Eastern isn't that bad.

Little bit of both. Indiana has shown they can protect their home court, while NE hasn't proved they can go on the road and win. The freshman that Crean has do have some talent. I mean they were recruited to Indiana, not Northeastern. Most importantly Crean has them playing hard. That is all you can ask is to play hard, and they do just that. Talent wise I would say they are slightly better than northeastern, just not as experienced on the D1 level. I think they continue their success on their home court tonight

23-20 Marquette after the Hayward 3 ball...

People can say what they want about Marquette, but James, Matthews, Hayward, and McNeal are about as good a top 4 as you're going to find anywhere

i don't think Buzz is that good of a coach. little bit more undisciplined this year, and the offense isn't as smooth

Just curious as to why, unit wise this would not be your top play.
After all if you think they will win outright that is a 9-11 point discrepency. Admire your work. Keep it going.

Good luck mate.

good question. i actually think all dogs i am on can win tonight, but if 1 were to get blown out I think it would be Cornell. Prolly caught me at the right time when I said that.

Marquette only down 3 at the half...hopefully can get a lead in the 2H as we started to get stops down the stretch of the 1H.

Costner was unconscious to start the game. marquette needs to be smarter with the ball, and they will be ok. i don't think nc st will shoot as good as they did in the 1st half...at least i hope not

on another note does anyone know why the Cornell/St Joes's game is delayed?
