We've got a small group of friends who regularly get together to play cards. None of us are pros and we basically like to see some cards and trade a few dollars. We typically play five card draw or stud and seven card stud, but with the popularity of holdem, its been getting called more and more.
Anyway, my questions is very simple and I think I know the answer but I need confimation to eliminate any doubt.
We had two senarios during out last game that caused some confusion.
First hand: Player 1 held a J3 and Player 2 had a J7. The community cards were 8,9,10,Q&A (not suited)
Second hand: Player 1 held a K5 and Player 2 had a KQ. The community cards were K,K,Q,Q,6.
Is there a winner in either hand or is the pot split? I appreciate your help.
