From what I have heard (not personal experience), the low-limit tables at the Bellagio are great ponds to dabble in. I also hear the flamingo has some great games.

I have to disagree with you about Sunset station. Some tight players but, generally not the toughest. I have played in some wild games where inferior hands were being played for two and three bet flops all night. Treasure Island was the best for low limit soft games before it closed a few years back. Unbelievablely soft games, you could EXPECT to take out two-three hundred in double 8 games and sometimes make a big score. Those days are all but gone now. The Excalibur and Mandalay bay rooms can see some crazy inexperienced tourist blowing big amounts. The problem with sticking around trying to fry those fish is that you are not alone and can end up gettng fried yourself.

Any of the places on the Strip are great places to play. I cannot tell you how many people come up to me on a daily basis asking if we have a poker table or where to play "Texas Hold 'em". There are so many suckers out there right now is the greatest time in the world for someone with an ounce of poker skill. Hell, even my mom and sister are in on the poker craze, and my best friend who STILL doesn't know if a flush beats a straight or vice versa is hooked. The hardest part about winning these days is keeping a straight face when you see some fish go all the way to the river with a 2-7 offsuit and raise and reraise, then look at your full house and wonder why you called them when Phil Ivey would have folded.
