After re-reading the thread, I would agree with those of you guys that posted that any NO LIMIT game recquires of more skill than a game with established limits.

True, General... but the ability to manage money properly and remain cool, that's a skill.

I think that when you're grinding, Money Management is the single most important factor in any game, poker or sportsbetting. The ability to spot a good chance serves you not, if you don't have the proper Bank Roll to maximize your profits.

I think we're saying the exact same thing...

Agree with those here that talk about No Limit making big difference in the skill needed for each game...No Limit changes everything and playing No limit is a skill/stratgy into its own...My Ol'Daddy taught me as a little young "Creaker" that in most cases the cards will be the same over a period of time around the table...its wht you do with them that seperates the winners from the losers...winning a few bad hands...losing little on bad hands...winning big on great hands...its all in the betting and manuvering and No Limit sets everything apart IMO

The games are different and different skills are required as Wild Bill points out. I really only play stud online both because of where I live and because I can really only see all the cards on my computer screen as opposed to a table.

I play both stud split and Omaha Hi-Lo, mostly the latter recently. I have found some juicy online Omaha lately.

I think it helps your game generally to have an acquaintance with different games. At the rec.gam meetings I've attended I've enjoyed the low limit CHORSEL (Crazy Pineapple, Holdem, Omaha split, Razz, Stud, Eight or better split stud, and Lowball).
