I agree with this statement completey in that it should be settled on the field...but I disagree to a point because were you stand at the top of the season can dictate where you are at the end....If Georgia OU USC (not saying they all do or any of them do) for example go undefeated then they will already be at the top and dont have to climb...someone from the lower top 10 or even top 15 that goes undefeated has to work there way up because they started lower
Maybe I am off base here but that is the way that I see it...either way I can not wait for the season to kick off
