MEIN KAMPF: Palestinkian Best seller
ZOA ^ | M Klein

ADOLF HITLER'S MEIN KAMPF IS BEST-SELLER AMONG THE PALESTINIAN ARABS (this even 2 years Before the intifada,.. abu)

NEW YORK- Adolf Hitler's autobiography, Mein Kampf, in which he explains his virulent hatred of Jews, has made it to the best-seller list in the Palestinian Authority-controlled territories. The French news agency, Agence France Presse, reports that Mein Kampf is presently at number six on the PA best-seller list. It noted that Mein Kampf was banned from the territories during the years of Israeli administration of the region, but was recently allowed in by the PA.

Morton A. Klein, National President of the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA), said: "The Palestinian Arabs' apparent fascination with Mein Kampf is a deeply troubling phenomenon. When Israeli forces overran Arafat's bases in southern Lebanon in 1982, they found many copies of Mein Kampf, in Arabic, among the PLO terrorists' belongings. Nor we can we forget that the most popular Palestinian Arab leader, the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin el-Husseini, spent the Holocaust years in Berlin, where he was an active Nazi collaborator; he is still revered as a hero among the Palestinian Arabs today."

The ZOA president noted that Arafat's number two man and the architect of the Oslo accords, Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen), is the author of a book (The Other Side: The Secret Relationship Between Nazism and the Zionist Movement) which claims that Hitler killed less than one million, not six million, Jews, and that (Jerusalem Post , Jan.26, 1995); the official PA newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida has called the Holocaust "a deceitful myth" (July 2, 1998); PA Television has said "the Jews exaggerate what the Nazis did to them" (Aug.25, 1997); and PA Communications Minister Imad al-Falouji and PA general-secretary Ahmed Abdel-Rahman led a rally in support of Holocaust-denier Roger Garaudy. (Reuters, Jan.19, 1998)

MORE DETAILS ON ARABIC "MEIN KAMPF"

Middle East Media and Research Institute has just released more details on the sale of Adolph Hitler's Mein Kampf in eastern Jerusalem and the Palestinian autonomy. The Arabic translation is being distributed by Al-Shurouq, a Ramallah-based book distributor, and is now in 6th place on the Palestinian best-seller list. The cover of the book shows a picture of Hitler, a swastika, and the title in both German and Arabic. Following are some excerpts of the introduction by translator Luis Al-Haj:

"Hitler was a man of ideology who bequeathed an ideological heritage whose decay is inconceivable. This ideological heritage includes politics, society, science, culture, and war as science and culture...

"The National Socialism that Hitler preached for and whose characteristics were presented in his book My Struggle [Mein Kampf]... this National Socialism did not die with the death of its herald. Rather, its seeds multiplied under each star...

"This translation of the book My Struggle has never been presented to Arab speakers. It is taken from the original text of the author, Adolf Hitler. The text was untouched by the censor. We made a point to deliver Hitler's opinions and theories on nationalism, regimes, and ethnicity without any changes because they are not yet outmoded and because we, in the Arab world, still proceed haphazardly in all three fields..."

Patriot, are you suggesting that those of us on the left would support Hitler and suggest Mein Kampf as a good read if you're looking to annhilate some Jews?

Pat, you know better than that. Certainly there are those who think Palestinian is completely innocent in its action and Israel is the total bully. But that's only a few. Most of us understand that both sides are wrong -- I just happen to think Israel, having the upperhand at the moment, should be the one to initiate a truce. And building a giant wall through prime Palestinian regions is not a truce.

Please stop this laming bitching, one more time as white males we've had an easier time than any one else in our country for just about all of our exisitance as a nation.

"diminishing personal freedoms....you mean high taxes and redistribution of wealth."
It has nothing to do with "redistribution" it's about a fair distribution.

"discriminating against certain races...you mean white men (affirmitive action)"
One more time, we've got it the best.

"goverment controlled state...you mean gay marriages put in by 4 judges against the wishes of the electorate??"
Lol now that one was a real stretch, not being allowed to marry is limiting personal rights.

Kaya,
Nice to see your opinions , but tell us how you really feel. As an American living in Miami (before I moved to Costa Rica) I missed something, where do you see we had it the easiest? Growing up in a place where the white American male was the minority, I don't think we had it the easiest. Maybe your speaking of as a whole? Then I would say sometimes it is not good to generalize. There are always exceptions to the rule.

Interesting because Clinton blames himself for those negotiations not ending in a total truce.

I'm saying what I really feel.
However I'll admit if you are under 30 and grew up in Miami you would feel different.
I'll sum up what I mean when I say that white males have always had it the easiest in simple terms. When the country was founded white men were the only ones entitled to all rights (for example only white men were allowed to own land and vote in the beginning) everyone else has had to fight for their rights throughout the development of the nation. That's the reason that we have had things such as, the movement for women to get the vote, the end of slavery, the civil rights movement, affirmative action, woman's lib, etc.
How many movements besides the KKK and ARM (which are just racism clubs and have nothing to do with defending rights) have you heard of promoting white male's rights? We're born with ours, everybody else has to stand up for theirs.

i must apologize for my ignorance. I still don't see it that way. I am over 30 and lived through riots, shootouts, drivebys and a host of things one wouldn't normally see on a dailty basis. However, I also have seen people , good people being passe up for jobs because there were too many whites working in the company. Too old, too few minorities. Let's look at things the way that I see them. Maybe for too long the whites have had it easy, with education, TV stations and radio only playing white stereotyped music and sitcoms and things where you only saw whites. I don't know how many years ago that was but it must have been before i can remember. I went to FSU and listened to the Honorable Rev. Luis Farrakhan who said it was a "Black Thing you wouldn't understand". Watched as WB has an all black cast when In Living Color aired. Now I am not saying anything of these are bad , but just i have seen things are turning around as far as i know. Scholarships, means of education, TV stations , radio stations, just some things are not as bad as the early 70's late 60's when i was growing up. There must still be racial injustice, that is why i moved out of the States, and haven't been home in 7 years, and don't plan on going anytime soon. I know alot about the politics in South Florida and do not agree with it. I am glad there are people like yourselves who still think the States means jobs for the white male, I happen to have a different opinion that's all. I never had it easy there and I am sure there are many people who would agree with me. Fought for my meals at times. Thanks for the time you took in reading my posts.
quote:
I'll sum up what I mean when I say that white males have always had it the easiest in simple terms. Thank god women stood up for her rights. Everyone has rights as humans ( thus human rights activists) and that is the way it should be. Even people fight for animal rights, ( animal rights activists) that is great. But, the white, dominate male, i think is a thing of the past. AMEN to that.

The premier at the time of the Oslo accords was Yitzhak Rabin. Do you remember what happened to him pat? Do you know what the reason for what happened was? He wanted to give the Palestinians some concessions. It is clear that anyone who wishes to do just that will pay for it with their life. Do you think that people just wake up and hate the US for no reason. Justified or not we must evaluate the reason one is willing to give up their lives for this cause. This is the only way we can stop any potential future attacks. I don't want my kids to grow up in a world where there exists an endless stream of suicide bombers waiting in the wings. The only way to prevent this is to wipe out all the Palestinians. Give them some concessions that will allow them to live as human beings. Wait 300 years and hope that this problem just goes away.
