the real problem here is that when you're wrong you can't admit it or own up to what you said.

What are you talking about being wrong? We differ in opinion. What am I supposed to admit to?

I mean, you could say the same thing about Johnny Mac right? But why? He has a different opinion. That's not what this is about.

johny Mac is not trained to handle a situation like that. Nor is he on a payroll to

So tell me, what was the cop supposed to do differently? And if you carry a concealed weapon, yes, you have training.

Let's say Johnny Mac you have a concealed weapons permit and you're carrying in the park that day.

This kid walks up to you and points that weapon at you and tells you to put your hands up. You think he's carrying a real weapon.

Are you gonna say "hey kid, you're only 12, put that weapon down." What if you have a kid with you? What if there are other kids around?

There are other options, which you have continually refused to acknowledge, and that police are trained in.

Please answer my questions, smart guy.

What other options did he have? He pulls up, and the kid yanks a weapon on him.

LOL, comparing a 12-year-old to a 2-year-old.

A 2-year-old is still wearing diapers. A 12-year-old is damn near in high school. Funniest shit I've ever read at the RX.

You are intentionally obtuse. What about an 8 year old?

A 2-year-old shits his pants but he's supposed to know to put his hands up like a 12-year-old.

training for using your fire weapon lol. Not how to handle a situation of that magnitude. Do you argue just to argue?

We're having a discussion. Isn't that what this forum is about? Do you want everyone to just agree with you?

Nobody is arguing. We differ in opinion.

Go back and read my points in this thread. This was bad policing. Police shouldn't shoot 12 year olds within 2 seconds of arriving. It's disgusting.

And 12 year old boys shouldn't be pointing weapons at kids and cops in public parks. Those same kids should follow the instructions of law enforcement officers. It's disgusting.

The kid wasn't 8, he was 12. The difference in mentality from 8 to 12 is huge.

You do, you argue just to argue. Go fuck yourself. I hope your 12 year old never behaves like a 12 year old in front of a cop.

I'm done with this thread.

So let me understand, we're having a civil disagreement on a forum but I'm arguing with you but you aren't arguing with me? We're just discussing a situation in America. Happens each day here.

And here comes the personal attack. Forumville at it's finest.

Obviously not but you're wrong. He could had handled a lot better. The kid is dead and there is no bringing him back. Now if you don't think he could have handled it better than I really don't know what else to say. Glad you're not a cop, amen.

Why am I wrong because you say so? According to the law and the district attorney, I'm right but that's not what this is about.

How could he have handled it better?

A 12-year-old has the capacity to hold a gun in a public park, point a weapon at a cop and kill the cop. The answer is yes.

I mean dude, what was the cop supposed to do? He had no choice.
Gangs use 12-14 YO's in Chicago to shoot guns, many just get juvi instead of prison.
