IB - hate to clutter this up with props which you may hear enough already but I really appreciate this. Posters like you doing things like this is huge for this site. One of the most informative threads we've ever had on the site.

In case we don't say it enough, thank you!

I have word that neteller reveals your transfer information to the sportsbook/casino ends. They will tell them who you transfer money to and from.

areeff - They only do that when it looks like someone may be doing multiple accounts, and/or trying to scam a book, or sending money to a friend to place bets for another account holder etc.

In my opinion, this is inappropriate for Neteller to be disclosing this type of info, whatever the reason.

I think that Neteller should be allowed to disclose the customer's name, address, telephone, and E-Mail address to the book, nothing more.

Any info about buddy transfers, or any info about what other sportsbooks a customer plays at, should be out of bounds. This is a conflict of interest on Neteller's part - it's a damn good thing for them that they're basically the "only game in town" these days.

I have had no problems with neteller or any book but i wanted to give people a heads up that ALL your neteller transactions are public info. So if you post up at the greek spyro can find out where else you play easily, without any effort, should he want to.

The information i am posting was obtained from a book manager.

areeff - I was told by NETeller that they DO NOT give all transactions to a book or any other site. That they only do this if they suspect suspiscious activity. Which makes sense.

The info that Halifax thinks is OK to disclose is NOT ok, as if they did this they would be helping every marketing dept at all the books.
And violating some privacy issues BIG time for no real reason.

They do not supply email addresses, mail address, phone numbers etc. Just a name and Neteller account number. With transaction activity IF they suspect suspiscious activity.

I obtained the above info from Top Exec's at NETeller

If what your friend the book manager is telling you is true that is NOT right. Please double check and supply this guys name and the book.
