Ok gang, need your help one more time :)

I'm going up against Dante Culpepper, Nate Burleson, Randy Moss, and Mushin Muhammad.

I have the following options at QB:

Peyton Manning (eh)
Billy Volek
Kerry Collins
even Jake Delhomme but i'm staying away because if he has a big game, likely Muhammad will too-- Leaning toward Billy Volek here

I also have Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison at WR-- but i'm thinking about starting:

Joey Porter
Rod Smith
Michael Clayton (TB)
Eddie Kennison is also available

RB:

LaDanian Tomlinson (how much will he play?)
Larry Johnson
Reuben Droughns (denver)

thinking about starting L.Johnson and R.Droughns-- my opponent has Nate Goings and Sean Alexander :(

Also, can I expect Donnie Edwards to be out on the field 4quarters as well?

Defense I have:

New England v SanFran
or
Baltimore v Miami

Opinions and input greatly appreciated--- perhaps suggestions for lineup improvements of people that might still be available-- thanks :)

Having the same problem deciding my team also.

Definitely don't play Porter, he's been dropping passes, last week had a td but no yardage.

Volek was hurt last week, but will start, I started him too, as my alternate was Brady.

Droughns a definite start, he'll mangle the Indy D.
Johnson another good start, if SD is resting.

Delhomme has abeen awesome these past few weeks, not sure why you wouldn't want to start him at home.

Baltimore on D as Miami is starting 3rd string QB.

Rod Smith should be a good start.

Muhammad should be the only one that kills you. I know he's been killing me.

Best of luck whatever you decide, this is it, the Cham-peenship is on the line this week!

first off - you should do what a lot of leagues do - end after week 16 to avoid this problem

as for your questions:

***Jake Delhomme (who cares if you are facing Muhsin - jake is playing the saints defense who couldn't stop Helen Keller from throwing 4 TDs against them - and if colbert comes back you might get lucky here)

I also have Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison at WR-- but i'm thinking about starting:

Joey Porter (this should be Jerry - Joey plays D for Pitt)
Rod Smith (NOT bad against the pathetic Colts D and the weather in denver should be tolerable)
Michael Clayton (NOT a bad start - but the cards have the 29th ranked run D and 9th in pass D - my guess is teams run all the time so don't bother chucking the rock - but still - Clayton is RED HOT now - START him)
Eddie Kennison is also available (VERY inconsistent although SD is #3 vs. the run and 29 vs. the pass - but i don't trust kennison)

***i would start: Clayton and Porter - (Kerry Collins plays well at home and by gametime the jags could be out of the playoffs - and if that happens - all bets are off on how they will play - and Jax is #17 vs. the pass and the raiders have ZERO running game)

***RB: Larry Johnson/Reuben Droughns (end of discussion)

***DEF: Baltimore (they are facing Sage Rosenpuke for gosh sakes - by all means start them - miami will be lucky to do much - especially if the weather is nasty)

THANKS for the info :)

I guess i'm still having a bit of a QB controversy, I know DelHomme has been on fire lately, but I don't want to "share" any points with him and Mushin Muhammad -- does that make sense? I guess, if there's a chance that Mushin and Jake have a bad day, I want to be able to have a good day with someone else--

Something about Billy Volek at home against the Detroit Lions--- Definately still a dilema here in my mind--

I will be leaving the RB situation as it is (and you guys stated) R.Droughns and L.Johnson. Defense will be Baltimore.

I also noticed that Lee Evans is available for Buffalo, this guy has been on fire as of late, my only concern was the Pittsburgh defense putting a big halt on the Bills passing game--- any thoughts on this?

WRs still available are:

Larry Fitzgerald (ARI)
Isaac Bruce (STL)
Keshawn Johnson (DAL)
Eric Moulds (BUF)
Roy Williams (DET)

Mushin is scoring whether you start Delhomme or not.

I would start:

Delhomme
LJ, and Droughns
Pick up Roy Williams and start him, Titans are one of the worst passing D's and Porter.
Ravens D

He is very hot right now and I would start him. I would start Houston D also (if this is for another league).

hey thanks for the reply,

no this is the same league--- i'm thinking houston D might do better against Cleveland than the Baltimore D against Miami??

dunno-- wish i had another option for QB other than Delhomme (being that my opponent has Mushin Muhammed) and he's the only one Jake seems to throw to really--- what do you think about starting Kerry Collins?

edit: nevermind on the Houston defense, I see Holcomb is starting--

the way I dunk on you is gonna look unorthodoxed

i cant believe that many people are still available in ur league but hey...id GRAB AND START lee evans...should torch CBs cuz safeties will be coming up on the run plus pitt's Defensive starters will probably sit.... and DEFINITELY grab and start roy williams....jerry porter gave the Titans fits last week with his size and strength....just like williams will...

good luck coming from a championship winner right here!!!
