Bookmaker is where the line orginates from, as they are the first too post a number and from what I see they opened it at -4.5, so that is the TRUE opening line.

agree but they opened 4 1/2 and they bet + and 20 other shops opened 4.....i dont count BM openers as true openers .......lower limits lines get pounded around then everyone opens........more realistic gage IMO

The fact that Bookmaker/Cris opened at -4.5 doesn't mean every book had that number.

I confirmed to FeelTheTruth this morning that the line opened -4, without even knowing what the question was about or that PO69 was involved.

FeelTheTruth, how much was the bet for? And what were the terms?

i hear what you are saying and I agree. I havent really read much of the thread but I thought they were talking about what the linesmaker came out at and too me that is what the first line is, from there it becomes the public who sets/moves/adjusts the line more or less.

I predicted 3 as the opener...he predicted 6... we settled on 4.5 and I took the under.

we agreed we would use whatever # the majority of those books had... not what the 1st book had.

bodog, sia, and sky opened 4

betjm, cris opened 4.5

and the bet is only $50... I dont want the money, the guy is obviously hard up, I just want him to admit he is wrong

I checked with 2 different line movers who work different shifts at Skybook. It opened 4.

Can the mods please perma ban PO69? He's a proven scammer, and uses this forum just to steal from other posters. With a huge post count you'd imagine he would be legit, so it's easy for the new members to fall victim to him.
