that sucks

The only way to learn is to pay it off yourself sounds cruel but handouts only make the problem worse.

Seek help ASAP ... GA is a start. As for the debt contact the bank and setup a payment plan

Good luck

Best of luck to you - seriously.

However, your story is pretty fishy. First, it's highly unusual that a bank has you on a plan paying $33 off every 4 days, or about $247 per month, unless you're simply doing it on your own accord. In 3 months you'll have paid $741 and won't need very much to pay the balance off. Second, exactly what interest rate is your bank charging you?? Even at at a credit card interest rate of 21%, such a rate is not that horrible to be 'killin' you. Third, how the hell can we help you 'get back up again' by supposedly simply saving you the 'killin' interest rate less what you pay us, over a lousy period of 3 months??? Assuming a 21% interest rate at best, you'd only have to be paying about 5.25% of that dime for those '3 months', which would amount to only $52.50 out of your pocket.

This is ridiculous - take your scam to another forum with dumber people. If not a scam, I find it unbelievable that a bank would screw you over that much, and if you can't find a friend or family member to loan you what you're asking total strangers who don't know you from a hole in the ground, then what makes you think we'd be trusting enough to step in?

p.s. Get a job and/or deal with your own messes - getting into the habit of getting others to bail you out of your own stupidity is a very bad idea.

bcoog: sorry, I don't buy it, the story you're seriously in trouble here. You've ruled out your parents - why? Embarassment? Tough - get embarrassed. You put yourself into this predicament, you can get yourself out. Still have no clue as to why this situation requires you to ask strangers for help. If you're that trustworthy, why aren't your friends flocking to your aid, or are you also embarrassed about asking them?

p.s. Based on what I've read, I'd think anyone lending money to you is simply asking to be taken to the cleaners. Also, you knowingly got yourself into this - I don't care if you have a gambling problem, in fact, it's best that if you do have one that you are forced to deal with the consequences by yourself NOW, simply to keep you from doing it later.

bcoog, if you're not a scammer, then you're simply naive - written agreements don't mean shit if you can't find the person who didn't honor them. You still, after several posts, have refused to address why you cannot ask family or friends for help instead of total strangers, or why this debt is so horrible you can't deal with it, especially considering the payment you've got coming that you know will pay the debt off. Just does not make sense.

And please don't lecture me about thinking about myself first - lol - here you are being somewhat peevish that a stranger considers it foolish to send hard-earned money to another stranger who has already shown by his actions that he is a lousy handler of money, or at least has shown lousy judgement involving money. Let me give you some good advice - if you don't look after yourself first, who the **** will? Strangers?
