I grow 'em and I eat 'em. Along with many of my family and friends and neighbors. If it's hot where you live, the best foods to eat are tomatoes and cucumbers
You can even juice the cucumbers. Nothing is more hydrating than cucumber juice.
Outstanding!I grow 'em and I eat 'em. Along with many of my family and friends and neighbors.
Although my cukes caught a disease this year and they are almost all done at about fifty. Last year I got hundreds.
Tomatoes are flourishing this year.
Haha. I planted watermelons from starter plants three separate times but every time the damned rabbits came in and ate the young plants. They take about ninety hot days to mature. I ran out of time to plant. No watermelons here.Outstanding!
I should have mentioned that watermelons are also very hydrating.
Man, you've got it made! Tomatos, cucumbers, cantaloupes!Haha. I planted watermelons from starter plants three separate times but every time the damned rabbits came in and ate the young plants. They take about ninety hot days to mature. I ran out of time to plant. No watermelons here.
But I did manage to get some cantaloupes going. Harvested one so far. That was the sweetest juiciest melon I ever ate. But powdery mildew set in and I'm not sure that the rest of the unripe are now going to reach maturity. Sucks.
