Could be time for NW to come back down to earth after handing PSU their ass in their place, and pulling off the upset over Wisconsin back to back weeks. Minny had a week off to prepare for this one and heal up. Their numbers stack up against NW pretty well as it is... better in rushing and passing on both O and D. The strength of schedule is slightly in NW favor so the stats probably even out a bit, but there are multiple reasons to back Minnesota on this one so I'm taking a shot.

UL Monroe +21.5

Too many points to give up for Kentucky. They are moving in the right direction but I don't think they should be laying this many to decent teams just yet. Both have played pretty weak schedules. This is a sandwich spot for UK as well, although that may not be as much of a factor for a team that isn't used to being in this position like Kentucky is.

Dead-even matchup on paper, yet MSU are 3 point dogs at home. I don't think Auburn will be able to run all over this front 7 like they are used to doing.

BC with the better D and run game, getting points. They also had a bye to prepare for it...

Akron with the better run and pass D, and Ohio is pretty banged up. Line dropped to a FG so I'm on it.

Decent numbers on most... could have had Georgia at 3 and ND at 11.5, but still good numbers on those. I can see all those dogs winning outright. GL this weekend everyone.

Week 9

Memphis -22.5
Riding the "fade SMU" train this week... Memphis is better in all phases of the game. Defense should be able to cover this one.

Louisiana Tech -9
Not a big fan of road favorites, but like Memphis, I think LT is better in every aspect.

Old Dominion +10.5
ODU can run the ball, and I don't think WKU has the defense to be laying 2 scores here. ODU had a bye as well.

Arizona St -3.5
ASU should be getting Kelly back. Washington has the better run D but I think ASU can overcome this with the balanced attack they have.


Got one more outside of that... just waiting on the number to come down a bit

Just as I thought... getting Nebraska late cost me. Having a rough year in terms of getting bad numbers. I blame the Royals' unexpected postseason run for taking up all my time. Still a positive day.
