The bottom line I think others are not understanding, and that I understand cause they are not from here, is Hawaii if they dont win this game. They will lose more than just a football game. That is the best way I can explain it at this time. More than just a game is played here , ah you know what, fvck it I dont why I continue to give info that is not asked for and wanted. Sorry gang.

Captain

I think you know without me saying how I feel about the effort you provide to this forum and particularly on those games involving the Warriors.

This should be a very special day for you that you can enjoy. I'm sure your enthusiam for the start of this game is quite high today. How could you not be excited? This is the biggest thing going on today for the islands and I know it means alot to not only you but the people of Hawaii, both students as well as residents.

Why don't you take a little break for awhile, relax and enjoy today and enjoy your Christmas. After the break, come on back to the forum to continue commenting. This is a great thread but it can be stressful as well. We may be on opposite sides today in the game, but we are on the same side of life.

By the way, I have an wet autographed Hawaii football in a case signed by June Jones. I love it.

Man, it just looks "so tempting" to play Haw to go OVER 21 in the first half! I mean worst case scenario is they only score 21..If the total for the game (mid 70's) is set so high, they just about "have to score" that (21), right?

Thanks Ted, that sounds like good advice. I got to remember that saying that you can bring a horse to water, but you cant make them drink it. Plus sometimes I get lost in my wanting for all to benefit from what I have to offer, but I forget so often , that no one ask for it. Ted I for one am lucky to have the opportunity to be influenced by your wisdom , patience, and knowledge to a successful and happy existence. You dont know how valuable I consider this to be. Thanks you again and I wish you the best of luck with your play. Dont worry, I never get offended when others play against me,for one, it is out our hands now. And second, because I know that everyone has the right to live and enjoy their life how they see fit. Aloha and I'll be back later.

Dawg, it looks tempting also. Where do you find that kind of bet. I use Royal sport and carib and I dont think I saw that. Does look juicy, I rarely play first half lines as I am afraid of the team starting off slow. But if Houston comes out on fire, then this will push hawaii to respond. Jones likes to answer back and fast. He knows that if not the other team like Houston may play ball control keeping the offense on the sidelines, and that is not where he wants them to be. His off you have to try to take the lead early and fast or teams hold the ball and keep away from you. But then again with teams with weak defense, may be able to score back fast.

Hey is all the services on Houston

Here is a strong prop play.

Jeremiah Cockheran over 75.5 yards (Oly).

Take it to the bank. Cockheran is Hawaii's primary deep threat. He will get many opportunities to catch some deep balls for big yards. Barring injury, he should get 75 yards by halftime.

CC,

I heard that Briles spent three years on the Texas Tech coaching staff prior to comming to Houston. Also Kevin Kolb was coached by Briles during his freshman year at high school prior to Briles going to Texas Tech. I just wanted to find out if Briles did coach at Texas Tech or not.

Aloha and Good Luck.

LsuPete,

I respect your knowledge on LSU, but your knowledge on Hawaii as far as how they think and what they feel is important is completely off. You may know about trends regarding point spreads and comparisons between teams. Or why a team may have an avg over anther team. This is all part of the basic handicapping process, using information based on the past, which available to all. Well, I am aware of all those things as well. But what you dont have and that are way off is your thinking that you are right and know how the hawaii players think and or feel concerning a game. If you reed my post , you would surely see that I explained how and why Hawaii see this game as important. These are based on personal feedback and communication with them which I know you dont have. I listed several factors facing the players , Coach Jones, that are motivating factors for them to get a win and why. You are totally wrong and your assumption of what hawaii players see as important or what they wont is way off and unjustified. You may be correct about the spreads or other past history trends you stated that will determine the outcome. That I dont disagree , but those are things which everyone has access to. So it is not anything new or based on the present etc. But what I have is. Please dont try and come across like you know how and what the Hawaii players are thinking, because you cant base it or back it up with hard facts or evidence, because it was just your own assumptions and guess that you want to pass off as the truth. Well , I deal with the truth when it comes to how the players in Hawaii think and feel regarding a game like todays . How cause I live here for one and second cause it came from the horses mouth. So please stick to telling us about how LSU players are feeling and thinking and stop pushing your assumption on others as the truth. I wrote why this game is important in my post, I suggest you read it before you make an ass of yourself again trying to tell me how hawaii players think. Didnt you figure it out by now that I may be a former hawaii fb player who has close ties to the current players. I guess not. Thanks for trying it was a good attempt. I am not one of the dummies who people say you got to buy your friend service plays. If your so good why dont your sell yours. Give me a break.

Here is another strong prop play.

Houston to have longer fg -110 (Oly).

The Houston kicking game has been the epitome of consistency. Houston kicker Dustin Bell has made 50 of 50 xp's and is 5 of 8 from 40-50 yds!

Hawaii's kicking game, meanwhile, is in shambles. Starter Ah Yat completely lost his confidence in mid season and was replaced by a freshman walk-on, Miranda. The coaching staff has been wary of trying Miranda for long kicks and Hawaii has suffered a spate of blocked kicks. They tried putting Ah Yat in against Alabama, and he missed an easy fg. Jones will probably just go for it on 4th down instead of trying for a long fg. Houston will just kick (and hopefully make) a long fg.

One more strong prop.

Brandon Middleton over 5 receptions (Betmaker).

Middleton is Houston's go to receiver. He should easly get 5 catches, barring injury.

ppeter , how this guy LsuPete trying to make like he knows how hawaii think concerning a game. Some people on the mainland always make the mistake of thinking that we here in Hawaii think and find what they would find, as lets say ,important or not important. Most just dont have a clue. I am trying to share first hand information on how exactly the players are viewing this game. And he's trying to contradict what I am saying, which what I am saying is coming directly from them. To much!

smaller props

longest td of the game under 65 yards (a slight hedge as I am heavy on the over)

first score of the game not a td +270 (also a slight hedge for those that have the over)

Vince Marshall over 4 catches.
