I wonder why there are so many asking me about whether or not they can stop Houstons running game. Didn't Hawaii shut down Alabama and its top running back. I think that shows their potential in a big game, and this is a big game. To them!

captain,

fine line between motivating anger and loss of confidence. one big play can sway it either way!

Winna, I got from sportscaster that 105 of the 107 will be ready and able to play. He only stated that Laboy and another reshirt fs linemen was not going to play, Hence the 105 out of 107. Also Issac and Owens wont start but , that doesnt mean that they wont be sent in on the second or third or fourth play of the game. Don't worry about this. I have always stated that Hawaii two positions where they are loaded at is at DL and WR.

maybe I used the wrong word, sorry. what I meant to rely was that it just adds more of a reason for them to play extra hard.

ppeter, as far as the fans ,go its not a concern the team has been playing in front of a small crowd before. Plus the fans to me is not a concern because they dont play the game. They do stupid things like boo Timmy . But what is a factor , is that this game is on National TV, everyone knows you bring your A game when ESPN is there. Also the players play for themselves , probably because after every game they have to ask for fans to come out to the game. But you know Hawaii, if they know that Hawaii is going to win the game, they dont want to go. They only want to go to the game that they think Hawaii may be beaten or when they play a name school. They dont go just to support the team , unlike you folks who are season ticket holders. I think thats awesome. They play for you guys. This team is real close and they motivate eachother. Just look at Jason and Timmy.

As always a great analysis, Co-Captain...but do me a favor and keep the Don Ho lyrics to yourself. I read that and now I can't get that stupid song out of my head. Thanks a lot.

hansen bros. ,

what is it you need to know. Just ask me, I will try and help you out. I wont get offended if your not on Hawaii. I am here to help and wont mine sharing any knowledge or info I have whether it will make Hawaii look bad or not. If it is the truth , and nothing but the truth, nothing can change that. and I only deal in the truth, cause I aint got time for games or anything else. I already got my bet in , but that wont matter in helping you even if it is to find some kind of weakness on Hawaii you could use to bet Houston. Everyone see a game happening differently, so it wont matter. Plus like I mentioned, if it is the truth then I cant change that and I dont benefit or have to energy to try and hide the fact from anyone. Doing that wont change my life in anyway. So feel free if you want to know something just go ahead and ask me, I like helping others out. What goes around comes around , you know what I mean.

To answer everyones question about over/unders, I dont play them often as I hate them they cause me stress especial when you have the side and the under or over. To much squezing ass for the teams to not score. Or to much begging for the team to score. But bottom line is I suck at it. But I am good at it when I tease it with the side. Stupid yeah,I know.

as far as Houstons Coach Briles, he is not from the colleger ranks before he came to Houston. He has come from the High School ranks where he was a very successful hs coach.

Nobody was booing Timmy at the Alabama game. The boos were directed at the moronic coaching decision to put Timmy in again and again when it was obvious he had lost his accuracy and confidence. At least I was.

To his credit, June listened to the booing fans and made the right (winning) decision to go with the hot hand (Whieldon).

cap`n....a question....what do you think of hawaii over 21 for the 1st half?.....let me post something i put up in another forum.....

would appreciate your opinion....thanks....

"wasn`t gonna touch this one but, what the hey......gonna play hawaii over 21 1st half.....

after seeing the uab`s,army`s,east carolina`s,la lafayette`s and rice`s of the world,i suspect this hawaii offense will be a bit of a shock to the system for houston....when they played teams with capapble offenses, they got lit up for 42 by sorry tulane...45 by memphis....31 by so miss(and so. miss although solid all around, isn`t an offensive juggernaut)....50 by a probably disinterested michigan....62 by tcu....and 66 by louisville....

the scary part of this is that many of these clubs scored these points running the ball....is there really a passing game among these teams anything like hawaii`s?....not in my opinion....and hawaii has scored over 21 1st half points 5 times this year.....

hawaii got up 14-0 quickly last year on tulane, and then lost chang due to injury....had to go with sean withy-allen(i`d have dropped that "withy" s-it real fast if i were him).....

withy came in and hawaii struggled mightily....this year, hawaii has 2 capable qb`s in chang and wheldon......

hawaii`s famous for getting off the blocks quickly.....as a matter of fact, these bowl games seem to be falling into a pattern of high scoring first halves....and it looks like houston has the offensive capapbility to keep the heat on hawaii`s offense to keep scoring.....

add to this that hawaii`s best defensive player travis laboy won`t be playing.....and maybe several other defenders....

hawaii has put up more than 21 in the 1st half 5 times this year.....would have been more except that they played several decent defenses along the way...bama...unlv...usc....boise...a nevada defense that`s better than houston`s....

but against the weaker "d"`s,hawaii pput up the points early....

now,in their bowl game at home.. with great weather....and both qb`s healthy.......vs a very weak "d".....i`ll take a small shot....

chad owens will play for hawaii despite a sore toe and a touch of flu earlier in the week....

may even play the very public over here....no more than 75...

but,i`ll take a shot with hawaii over 21 1st half for the hell of it"....

ppeter , yeah I knew that but after the game. The point was made by the commentators that Timmy didnt know that and it safe to say that he thought they were booing him , i would in his position. Bottom line is people should wait to they go home to complain. I mean you came to the game to support the team or play coach from the stands. We need to watch how and when we do somethings . It is these kids who are under the spotlight, it is them who will be affected by all of us in the stands. Now do we want our team to be affected by us or do we want them to play their hearts out and win. You know , the ones that stays here to play do it cause they wanted to play in front of their family and friends and represent the people of Hawaii. They gave up going to the mainland to be able to do this. Now thats what I call loyalty. Especially Timmy, you how many big time schools recruited him but he decided to stay home. And when he is struggle , we turn on him. Just fvcxk in stupid if you ask me. Big time schools wanted him. Wash, usc oregon, mich st, texas, col, ucla, orego st ,wash st.,just to name a few.

One thing is for sure in this game. UH will win this game. Am I right?

I believe the UH that will win is the one from Hawaii. This game will not be close. Look for TC and Jason to exploit Houston's defense. I look for Hawaii's defense to control the LOS. Houston may score in the 20's or 30's, but Hawaii will score 50's. Look for a score of 52-31. Hawaii rolls....

Another reason I have to take Hawaii is because my two year old son picked Hawaii. He has been money all year and is currently on a 7-0 ATS run. I am not going to buck him until he loses.

His favorite commercial is the one with Vili.

CHRISTMAS...MY House....BE There...JAAAAwhooo!!!

There is something about Christmas that makes me fell warm and fuzzy inside...weep..weep....BRING IT ON!!!!

GO BOWS!!! GO WARRIORS!!!
