The economy indeed and then they schedule these games so man of the teams have to travel clear across the cross-country to play in some far-off regional.

The NCAA will never get a grip on things. They feel the "party" can go on forever.

Wisky vs FSU in Boise, what an arena in Anchorage wasn't available?

USC vs BC in Minny

Arizona vs Utah in Miami

Some of these locations blow my mind. I thought they would at least take the economy into account and realize that all these teams aren't going to travel.

Why not a post season regional in Alaska; they could bill it "The second Great Alaska Shoot-out" of the season.

They better recognize that even though they feel they can "justify" sending these teams clear across the country, the fan support isn't going to be their. That is an important part of basketball tournament play.

The NIT does have a "home teams" up to the "Final Four".
