It has been awhile but have taken about 8 or 9 different classes in calculus, calculus based statistics, and calculus based statistics. I don't know how much I remember but as it has been like 13 years.

I took a few stats classes back in the day.
As at every school-alot of it depends on your teacher. I had a tough one and I had to study alot. I don't remember anything from those courses now.

Except the word "regression" for some reason.

Calc is simple. Try thernodynamic physics

Done that. I think the complicated thing in Physics is putting the problem togeather. Once you can apply the "correct" equations you're all set!

calc I and II

actually dropped calc I the first time, and got a C the 2nd time and easily aced calc 2.....calc I is a major weed out class

but something tells me you dont really care about anyone's answer and you suffer from a mild case of mental retardation

It's thermodynamics.

I am an Engineer working for a company that supplies centrifugal pumps, vacuum pumps and pump systems for a wide range of industrial applications.

I have done both Calculus and several different Physics courses and I have to say, Calculus was a little tougher than all of the Physics courses I took, including thermodynamics.

Once got 98% on a Physics mid-term exam and nearly shit myself when I got the results. Can't remember how I lost the 2%. Best exam result in Calculus was 81%.

I think it comes down to intellectual capacity to understand abstract concepts. Some have it, some don't. I certainly understood things more clearly when it came to Physics.

Yep Calculus was a really tough course. But once you understand the concept of differentiation and integration, its a piece of cake. I think the cool part about Physics is now you can apply what you learned in Calculus to real physical problems. The icing on the cake is Quantum Mechanics, because now you can disregard whatever you learned in basic physics and instead apply calculus and statistics to physical things as small as the millions of eggs in the load that you rubbed out this morning :puppy: .

I took calculus my 1st year at UCLA. Math had always been easy for me and I always got easy A's. Calculus blew me away. I lost all interest in math after calculus.

Serious? WTF. We should be seating next to each other. I breezed through calc 1 and 2 but fucken sucked ass in physics.
