Hey, I voted for Ron Paul in Michigan.

It was along party lines, pretty much. 95% of Republicans voted to keep, and 95% of Democrats voted to get rid of the legislation.

Ron Paul was one of the Republicans on our side.

Unreal. Just unreal. More big government and removal of freedoms

It is really a shame that the laws that form the base of how things are done in this country are a result of tactics to get more votes, as opposed to being "reasonable".

If politicians took the stance of reasonableness, instead of preaching the party message, such as the Republican mantra of "family values", I am pretty sure the country wouldn't be heading in the wrong direction as it is now. Not bashing Republicans here either, as the Democrats do the same thing, only on different issues.

Ron Paul would have been a breath of fresh air in the White House.
