First I would like to say thank you to the many talented cappers in here that make this sight what it is, a hub of knowledge and ideas on sports betting. I have been a fan of this sight in the past, but it seems to have stepped up a notch lately, and that is due to less BS and more info exchange. I also think it is due to the many cappers in here that have simply been LIGHTING IT UP, lately. You know who you are. Thanks......

I have finally had it with my locals, so I am taking the plunge into the offshore gaming world. Any tips &/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again...MM

Carib, Olympic, Canbet, and Pinnacle are all top notch. Be sure to get at least two accounts so you can shop for the best line.

You would do fine with Pinnacle, Canbet, Wsex, WWTS, Carib, Olympic, IISportsbook, CRIS.

MVP has lines independent from the others..

I'd suggest opening up shop there to at least shop lines !!

I find that for line shopping purposes, it is a must to have at least one sharp boook (e.g. pinny) and at least one square book (e.g. bodog) -- underdog lines at bodog are usually pretty good right before tip.

good luck

Jimmymo, which books, other than Bodog, do you consider square? In other words, which books have the most independent/unique lines, for line shopping purposes?

I love millennium for their teasers, best anywhere i have played. Pinnacle is one of the best and most solid operations you will ever find, they have some screwy parley rules with moneylines though, not rules really, just not allowing you to parley college basketball games on the money line unless they are TV games...

sportsbook.com is another square book -- one angle i keep an eye on and not that it is anything new, but anytime you can get a better line on a favorite at a square shop than what you can get at pinnacle, hammer the favorite (in other words fade the public dog)...

So Bodog and Sportsbook are the books with the off lines most often? How reputable/safe are they?

Muffinman..as far as best teaser and parlay odds go,i don't know but i have always figured if they are giving you better odds on those bets there is reason why,so i do my best not to play them. I think OLYMPIC is great and the owner Spiro is well respected and i've never heard of anyone having a problem getting paid, you can check it out at thegreek.com,best of luck.

I wouldn't say "off"...I just think they get a ton of action on the favorites day in and day out...so if you play dogs, those are good books to keep an account at.

Pinnacle will almost always has the best lines on favorites and offers reduced juice, but they are sharp, sharp, sharp....so beware of situations where Pinnacle is trying to attract action on one side of a game.

All three are solid books and I have never had a problem getting paid quickly.
