Geo Tech moving down in class to play a lesser conference. GT offense should have its way with a lower class <st1:City><st1lace>Syracuse</st1lace></st1:City> defense; running and passing regardless of who is playing QB for Tech. Tech experimenting with 2 QB’s smacks of Tech coach not caring a rat’s ass about this game and takes me off the side. Appears game means more to SYR but not willing to take points with lesser Conf. SYR offense will give Tech problems. Key here I believe is unheralded SYR passing game that will surprise. SYR defense sucks.<o></o>

I disagree with you and think the total comes in UNDER the total, I posted my reasons in another thread and will simply cut and paste the same response here:

Hey Hey..

I don't think you can REALLY trust either Geo Tech or Syracuse in this game to get the job done, you talked about motivation and make valid points about GT's motivation.

However, the Orange have been playing very hard for possbile lame duck HC Pasqualoni and actually went 3-1 straight up and ATS in their final four games of the season including an upset win over Boston College to close out the season, meanwhile, Geo Tech lost their final two games to Virginia and Georgia.

Losing to Virginia and Georgia is nothing to hang their heads bout but due to losing their final two games of the season GT enters this game without ANY momentum....while motivation is a good thing to have...I think momentum is a much better thing to have.

Personally I just can not bring myself to wagering on either team in this game because of the fact that neither QB can be trusted to get the job done if their running game is stopped as both Geo Tech's QB Reggie Ball and Syracuse's QB Patterson have BOTH thrown more interceptions than touchdowns this season.

I think the ONLY way to play this game is by taking the UNDER because the game will be played on grass which will slow down each team and both teams figure to run the ball and play field position....I think the winner will be decided by a FG in a low scoring game that stays UNDER the total of 44.

excellent right up deb very well spoken. I have a small wager on the orange tonight prob good reason to fade me however coach P was on the verge of getting fired going into tht bc game and now hes a got a decent program to build not to mention an overload of running backs this is a huge momentum game for the orange who will come out to play

Congrats to you OR..

Three individual plays in the first quarter led to three TD's and 21 points for Geo Tech which in all essence put the game out of reach for both Syracuse and those of us that had the UNDER.

In the big picture you really shouldn't gloat over winning a single game, because its just that....a single game...its in really bad form to gloat and in the end could come back to bite you in the arse should you not end up doing to well overall, apparently you were never taught that humility in good times as well as in bad times is a virtue.
