Now I know what you are thinking to yourself —- are you really telling us to take a +540 ML dog outright?
Well no, I’m not telling you to do anything, nor am I advising you to, but I can tell you one thing —- I sure as fuck am.
Because Tulane’s got the better QB in this match-up, with third-year starter Michael Pratt (no relation), and while much will be made about the step-up in the competition that Tulane will be seeing in this one, I don’t think the boys will be scared. Because if you remember back last year the Green Wave swept into Norman and almost won outright in Week 1. So what I’m telling you is, 50K+ fans aren’t going to scare this Tulane team, and with 9 returning starters on the defense they should have the bodies up front to stop the K-State ground attack.
And if they can stop the ground game of the Wildcats’ offense —- this one’s going to get DICEY for Kansas State fans, because Aidan Gonzales is BAD. Maybe that’s a bit harsh on the kid, but he’s just not that good when forced to beat teams with his arm.
So with Tulane being inside the top 50 in success rate against the run —- I’ taking the points, and I’m sprinkling the ML on Tulane to cash the BIG ONE
