Has to be Lrew Alcindor unless you can go back further and see how a guy named Bill Russell totally dominated the game of his time. Totally dominated.

Wilt Chamberlain has to be in the conversation..One year he averaged 50 points and 26 rebounds a game..Think about that one

I might be mistaken but didn't the NBA change some of its rules because of Wilt Chamberlain ?

Bill Russell

But one can argue for Wilt and Lew and Mo

I personally like brutal strength in the paint, so I'm not a fan of Lew

Russell averaged 15 points a game and never hit 20
Dominant defensively but wasn't the best scorer on his team
'I think people just remember the titles
One of the best but I would take Jabbar and probably Wilt over him

My favorite Olajuwon
Definitely top 5 probably top 3

It's so hard to gauge the eras

In his Prime Shaq is right there

He played when there were more great centers than any era (there are now 0)

Hakeem, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, Mutombo, Duncan

NONE of them could stop him

Olajuwon was no doubt better than Shaq

Guys he blocked the unblockable twice on bad knees in his mid 30's!!! Imagine him healthy in his 20's!?!?! That vid alone sold me. Skyhook the same in every era, unblockable, except if you're named Wilt!!

Wilt destroys Magic in his prime!!! Schwarzenegger boasts about Wilt's strengths. I found it hard to believe these stories, but like I said once I saw the video of Old bad knees Wilts blocking a prime Lew Alcindor twice in seconds, that's all the proof I need. There are also claims he beat Jim Brown in a race. The guy was a freak.

 I've NEVER seen Jabbar's SkyHook blocked once ...... Let alone TWICE within seconds
