I learned a long time ago, you can't consistently win by betting on bad teams (in any sport) hoping they'll cover a big spread, but I've got to place a 1/2 unit wager on GR +8.5 this week vs. a Chico team with Philyaw at <100% and probably a little rusty. Although they lost to @ TB by 20 pts last week, they played TB evenly for 3Qs and actually had a lead at one point in the 3rd Q.

Michael Bishop is very elusive and can create big plays out of nothing.

Meanwhile, this Chico team is not as good as last year's edition.
Last season was one of best teams in AFL at taking care of the ball. Last year they only turned the ball over 15x, and finished tied for lead in TO margin (+15). This year, already have turned the ball over 12x in six games, while only forcing nine TOs
.

Chico lost at Columus and GR beat Columbus.

I think 8.5 is too much.

Like most everybody else I like Ga to cover and LV to kill. I would really like LV if I knew just how healthy Dolezel's broken finger is, because his BU Whelihan sucks.

Dolezel's playing, I've got the game on AFLNet and he's definitely warming up and looks okay to me. I don't disagree with the GR call. Could be a big upset. Still think Chicago is vulnerable.
