I agree!! I'm not talking Black or white!! ANY player who uses enhanced drugs is a phony in my book! Lets not look elswhere this article is bout Bonds and he is a certain to catch Aarons record but they BETTER put a * next to it and say due to steroid use!!

Fat ass Ruth wouldn't even start for this Yankee team.

He'd be the Oliver Miller of pro-sports in this era.

If Ruth was sober and taking steroids today with the super balls they call baseballs today and the "WOOD" they use for bats, he would hit 75 home runs as a yankee every year!!

Bonds may be looking at a perjury charge if he told the grand jury he did not use steroids. He's going down.

IDENTITY, why are you being a race baiter? Your stupidity is glaring. I would explain the evidence the Feds have on Bonds but I am not going to waste my time on your sorry ass.

Who cares? I think they should all be allowed to use it as long as a doctor prescribes it and watches over them for health. It is such a joke right now with the biotech stuff getting to where people are going to take stuff that will never be found. Why deal with it? Why should one guy get better numbers than the others because his chemist is better? That is the BS in this all. Amazing how all of us are facing a similar attitude with the government about our gambling habits. We tell them you will never catch us, never stop us, we will win in the end. Might as well just legalize and regulate. My exact feelings with sports and steroids. Level the playing field and stop players from going to shady guys for juice instead of trained and respected doctors.

There's way more evidence that Bonds used steroids than there ever was or will be that Pete Rose bet on baseball. If Rose can't go to the hall then Bonds shouldn't either.

http://www.geocities.com/Area51/3543/moonfake.htm
Some sources have suggested that in 1969 NASA's technology was not sufficiently advanced enough to put a man on the moon and get him back to Earth alive. It is said that the computing power used by the Apollo craft would have been less than that contained in a modern pocket calculator. One author, Bill Kaysing, who reputedly worked for NASA just before the time of the Apollo launches says that NASA commissioned a feasibility study to check the odds of completing the moon landings successfully. The odds were reported as being 0.0017% chance.

He alleges in his book, "We never went to the moon", that NASA and the Defense Intelligence Agency faked the moon landing at a remote, possibly underground site in Nevada - Area-51 perhaps?

Other hoax theorists say that although the intention was not to fake the moon landings, as soon as NASA realised that they could not perform this feat they opted to fake it rather than lose face to the Soviets. In turn this also generated a feeling of euphoria in the American people and would have assisted with funding for other space projects.

There was no independant coverage of the Apollo missions, apart from the actual launch stage, so how do we know that the astronauts were aboard the Saturn V rockets and how do we know that NASA didn't fake the footage we saw?

---------------------------------------------
Of course, there is the whole flag conspiracy - a flag waving without atmosphere (& subsequently wind).

Whatever, this would be the whitest of government lies. I'm more concerned about why the knocked of Kennedy and how they rigged the election.

FINALLY! After 32 posts, someone actually GETS IT. If you got some time, here is a thread I started several months ago on this topic ... These ballplayers should just shut up and get drug tested!! Right???

The problem with the new biotech stuff is that no one knows how it's going to affect people down the road.... changing a couple of molecules makes it undetecable to current tests but what else does it do? Check out how many bodybuilders have died over the last few years and see if you think it's harmless... and as far as a Dr's supervision goes, lol, do you really think the athlete is going to care or even take the Dr's advice? Hell, he knows he's cheating when he's taking the stuff so why would he care what a Dr says? Bonds and others took Balco's drugs because they were UNDETECTABLE... not because they were safe. Obviously Bonds isn't still on anything... that might be why this season's HR total will be his lowest in several seasons. I'll be the first to say juice didn't make Barry a better hitter... but it did make him a more powerful hitter.. and juice helps the muscles recover quicker. Anyone that thinks he gained 40 pounds of muscle by just eating better and working out is naive, to say the least.

mdkid, yes i remember the thread well. but were at the point where we are just running circles. we all see it our way, some of us will change our opinion and some of us wont.

but there is something called the "law" and something else called "the judicial system" and that will be the final determinate.

if he's found guilty, youre going to have a hard time standing behind these guys. and if theyre not guilty, people like myself will look like a fool continuing to nay say and point the finger. unless it is "OJ" of course, where the evidence contradicts the verdict.

I remember that thread though, MDKID. good to see youre still as passionate about it. its like the damn kobe trial though, can we just get it under way?!

oh yea MDKID, how'd you do with that huge skybook jackpot you won? please tell me you got something out of it.

Rob, the judicial system won't handle it well because there will always be a new drug. Remember how Andro was legal and not controlled for some time? That is the cycle that will continue to happen and Max's argument against the health risks fits my opinion perfectly. Tell the players as long as what you are doing is approved and supervised by a doctor, you will be within the rules. I think the goal should be players stop taking stuff from salesmen and start taking stuff from doctors. If the leagues made this legal, the players would be willing in most cases to take stuff that is far safer than what they might take today just to avoid detection.

Hopefully Bonds gets charged with perjury before he beaks Ruth or Aarons record. He doesn't deserve to be ahead of those icons
