This is a very weak Michigan St team this year. Not a typical Izzo coached team at all. They have very little inside game, and no athletic size at all. They have no point guard and will be relying on a true freshmen coming off injury to try to fill that void. Yes they have played and lost to 4 top ten teams, but in all those games they were way behind and in 3 of them fought to make it close in the second half, the Kentucky game going OT.
They will have a real problem with the athleticism of UCLA especially inside. UCLA is also naming their court after John Wooden before this contest so there will be a lot of former greats there and the current team will play with a lot of emotion. UCLA will win this game outright.
