i just don't know yet on that damn game. it's starting to get to me.

i really love osu, really love it. the thing is, everyone loves it.

i like the fact that kodiak likes pitt if that is true, i really think he is outstanding, as long as you stay away from the michigan state thing. plus they say he has been hot.

but the whole east rutherford thing bugs me, and my system bugs me. this is one of few times i wish i could just make a bet and not worry about some stupid number.

its fun winning, but it is more fun handicapping a game with knowledge and winning. that is what it is all about, the kill.

if this line goes above 2- or 3 i'm on pitt. i haven't checked yet so i don't know what it is now, or by gametime for that matter.

I'm not much of a follower of who "everyone" is on because getting real data is impossible.

Everyone at therx is sometimes only a few loud people - and often when people say "the public" is on one side they arent really basing that on a good sample of booked bets, if any at all.

GL truely, although i think that when you get to the 16 on the games become a crap shoot, so i like taking advantage of line moves, so i'm going with pitt and will add ND. you ride until it dies.

Their losses at TTU and at Missouri compare well to Pitts losses at Uconn and against Cuse.

Only in between is where the proof lies IMO - OKState beat Kansas twice, Texas 3 times, TTU 2 of 3 (only one of the three was in Oklahoma, the other two were in Texas), and they handily beat Oklahoma twice (ok not so much of a big deal...).

On the Pitt end - they did split with Cuse and went 1 for 3 vs Uconn, swept ND and BC, and won at Wisconsin BUT they dont have anything on their resume like beating Texas THREE times and Kansas twice. Those are some convincing stats - and splitting with Uconn and Cuse IMO dont really add up to the same thing.

I know that you cant look at 2 teams on both sides and make a judgement only on that - but just for kicks:

I dont like pitt either.. they havent been that impressive although the lines seems to be a trap for people to take okie st.

I THINK THIS WHOLE PITT OSU GAME WILL BE DECIDED BY

2 things

if pitt can shoot at least 42%, with paige and krauser playing well.

and down low, can okie st. handle pitt on the boards, and be physical enough for 40 minutes.

we will know the first 3 minutes of this game if pitt is for real, or okie st for that matter.


here is the problem i see with okie st. the first half e. wash inside had a pretty easy time of it. well pitt inside is 10 times better than e wash. and pitts guards are 20 times better. maybe not that much, but i think you get it.


i like the big 12, as i have stated, but pitt reminds me of a oklahoma team with twice the talent.

for okie st to really convince me i needed to see wins at mizzou, and a lost to byu troubles me. i know it was before the pads thing.

pitt couldn't of played any worse in the game against syracuse, but to hold them to 40 some points is amazing. carmelo is gone, but they still have tons of talent and they are still playing.

and lets not forget that pitt destroyed, destroyed the cuse by 20 early this year.

and look what they did to providence when providence had been playing well and had some confidence at least. that team was never the same after pitt thumped them.


lastly guys, something to think about

if okie st was playing uconn, who would be favored, and who would you take?

that is how i handicapp for the most part.

i just think it is going to be a great game, i really do. i can't wait.

and nd is my best play, and my money management has gotten so much better being the rx. thanks for that.

pitt and cuse are even $, with nd and the hammer.

kansas got burried by nevada in the reg season, so i can't look at a kansas win for much of anything, plus kansas losing at neb big, big doesn't say much.

and i still think byu sucks.

i think okie st will win this game su, but i just think they wont cover. maybe a last second shot to win, or a back door cover. i know 2- isn't much to work.
