Short writeup.

In their head to head matchups, these two teams combined less and less points in every game they met, as they got to know each thers better ( 171 1st, 144 2nd, 122 3rd ).

New York is not out of the playoffs yet, and Detroit just can't keep losing if they want to get there in any kind of form. Charlotte is only 3.5 games behind.

This could be, but only could be, a first round playoffs game preview, so it is not a meaningless game whatsover.

Ney York is 3-0 under (116.5) when facing their opponent 3rd or 4th time in their last 3, and Detroit is 8-2 under in their last 10 in this spot.

Ney York plays without rest and they are 3-1 under the total in their last 4 when playing in btb situation.

They also play this game off playing Washington, and the WNBA teams are 7-0 under in this spot this season. Lately, the WNBA teams are 6-1 under the total after playing Washington, regardless the rest.

Detroit plays their third straight short rest game and they are 4-0 under this season when playing either 3rd or 4th straight short rest game.
